When I was picking and choosing between what songs to do for the Dreamland Invasion album, I felt like I had a good mix going, but I needed something weird. A song that was just… bizarre. I used to get a lot of requests for Money Machine (now known by it’s official name Crazy Rolling in Money) back when Robobot was still hot, but I always thought it was a little too strange to do a metal/rock remix of it. But when I was searching for the perfect odd song to add that little extra flare to the album, it dawned on me that this was the perfect song to fit the bill.

Money Machine is all over the place. It hardly ever relaxes or settles at any point. Just when you start to get comfortable, it changes into something completely different. Some say this is a nod to Haltmann’s personality.

You’d probably assume that my favorite part would be the guitar lead that kicks in at around 1:08, but it’s the part afterwards (at around 1:22-1:40) that I really dig, as well as the first section after the intro (0:14-0:57).

Don’t let the strangeness of this song fool you, it’s still a great tune. In fact, it’s the best song. Yes, the greatest Kirby song of all time for the greatest character in the Kirby universe, scratch that, in all of gaming. None even come close.
